Tautou was born into a Catholic family and attended her church even though she was a student within the Institut Catholique de Paris. As well as her acting profession she started a modeling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival she exhibited a collection of photographs under the title Superficial. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major performance in Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie is a box office hit internationally and recognized at many awards events around the globe. The film is still the most successful French language movie in the US.
